I am a self taught artist, but am always willing to learn.  I enjoy the outdoors which is why most of my paintings are of wildlife and landscapes, My paintings are based on sketches and photographs I gather while hiking and kayaking. My paintings and murals are done in acrylic paint, my woodburnings have a touch of color added to them.  Most of the mural labeled jungle theme was based on material that was going to be used as window curtains.

I try to be as true to the subject as possible. I don't try to do anything else. When people view a piece of artwork they bring their own thoughts and feelings, they don't need me to tell them how to think or what to feel.
