WHY BUY ART

 

Simply put "To Satisfy the Soul".

Artwork may not be a necessity like food or clothing, but it does have its place. It fills a different need and serves a different purpose. It can bring back a pleasant memory. It could lift your spirits when you're having a bad day at the home or office. It can even take you to places you have never been or places that exist only in the imagination.

When you acquire a piece of art you own more than the art itself, you take with you the artist. Maybe you see and feel the same things the artist felt as they created the piece, or maybe you get something different from it. I believe people bring their own thoughts and feelings when they look at art.

Something else to consider; artwork is an investment. It's like getting in on the ground floor of something good. As the artist grows so does the value of the artwork you own and unlike other purchases, they endure.
